Judith Newcomb Stiles founded this gallery as a tribute to Capt. Benjamin Oliver Newcomb who rescued the crew of Brig Yilica in the frigid December ocean at the sight of what is now known as Newcomb Hollow Beach in 1851. The gallery exhibits beautiful driftwood lamps by artist Andrew Newcomb and exquisite photographs by award-winning artist, Amber Barricman. Other summer exhibitions will include a group show, “Celebrating Color”. Throughout the year ceramic fish plates. seashore lamps, and lovely jewelry, made out of freshwater pearls, sterling silver, and tumbled glass – all hand-crafted, fresh out of Stiles Briar Lane studio. Wonderful gifts for every budget. Receptions on Sunday’s 6-8pm in July and August.
